I can allow for exhaustion and brain fry. I travel a lot for work, and some days, you just get real tired, and more than a little punchy.


But if a Republican said this, it would be political death. And if McCain did this, it would be plastered all over the media as an age thing.

The other thing is, being President is a demanding job. If this is the kind of mistake he makes because he's tired from campaigning, I get a little worried about what could happen when he's tired and in office....
