I Have Arrived...

Here I am in Arlington, VA - site of the 2007 Milblog Conference. Haven't managed to find anyone yet, so I'm hangin' in the room, having some lunch, and - what else? - blogging.

Cocktail reception is 8:00pm - 11:00pm - looking forward to seeing those I've met before, and meeting those I haven't.

More to follow.

Quote of the Day
"The spread of evil is the symptom of a vacuum.
Whenever evil wins, it is only by default:
by the moral failure of those who evade the fact
that there can be no compromise on basic principles."

...to Washington, D.C. for the Milblog Conference. Can't wait. In addition to enjoying the conference and catching up with some friends, I am also going to be meeting Patti of Soldiers' Angels face to face for the first time. Can't wait.

I'll be helping Andi with some of the set-up - I can't imagine what an undertaking planning all of this is!

Wish me a safe flight, and I'll be blogging later.
