~NO COMPLAINTS~

Look at all this mud, I thought,
now that Spring is on the way ~
all the rain has made a mess;
It's been thundering all day.

I looked out past the hedges,
through the open door ~
Then I remembered something
that had to do with War.....

A morass of muddy foxholes,
a chilly scene, and dreary
Who am I to grumble
when others are so weary.
