Nominated by Soldiers' Angel Fran, here are your Heroes of the Month for February:
I would like to nominate Cpt. Kent Ketter and the members of the 33rd Military Police Battalion based in Bloomington, Illinois as the heroes of the month.
In October, they helped save the life of an Iraqi boy. The details and a picture of some of the members can be seen at: www.pantagraph.com/articles/2006/12/28/news/doc4594046e7a6b7623527868.txt (the picture above comes from this article - make sure to go and read it for a great story of why we call them 'Heroes' -- Pam)
In the words of Cpt. Ketter..."Good things are happening over here...share the word!!!!"
I am Captain Ketter's angel and I am very proud of all they are doing over in Iraq. I am also the proud mother of an officer onboard a nuclear submarine somewhere in the Persian Gulf. Let the good that they do be spread around.
Hear, Hear, Fran!
Congratulations to Cpt. Ketter and the 33rd - you've got a care package on the way courtesy of Soldiers' Angels.
