CARIBBEAN SEA (Sept. 2, 2007) - French boarding teams rappel from a U.S. Navy SH-60 Seahawk onto the flight deck of multipurpose amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1). Wasp is in Panama as part of the multi-national exercise PANAMAX 2007. NEW YORK (May 23, 2007) - USS Wasp (LHD 1) passes the Statue of Liberty as the ship enters New York Harbor during the parade of ships on the opening day of the 20th anniversary of Fleet Week New York.
