Norfolk, Va. (April 18, 2008) Aircraft from the "Pukin Dogs" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 143 and the "Checkmates" of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 211 perform a flyover during a retirement ceremony for Adm. William J. Fallon aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). Fallon has served 41 years in the Navy and is the first Naval officer to command U.S. Central Command. During his career he also served as commander of U.S. Pacific Command and U.S. Fleet Forces Command as well as Vice Chief of Naval Operations.
