Fox News is reporting that U.S. warplanes have fired on an Al Qaeda camp in Somalia, with casualties. Couldn't happen to a more deserving place - Somalia has long been a festering terrorist sewer.

No word on the specific intended target yet, but bombing Somalia for terrorists is more or less like shooting fish in a barrel.


UPDATE: Central Command is apparently stating that planes fired at least one precision guided missile at the town of Dobley, with the target being less than 20 Al Qaeda terrorists.

Reportedly, the military is confident that they hit the intended target. Central Command states that they are doing damage assessments, and should have more information later today.
