YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sept. 21, 2007) – Newly pinned chief petty officers stand in formation during their promotion ceremony aboard USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63). Twenty-nine Sailors from Kitty Hawk, Destroyer Squadron 15, and Task Force 70 were advanced to chief petty officer at a pinning ceremony that coincided with Kitty Hawk's arrival home following a 121-day underway period.
