Firefighting in Camp Adder, Iraq

Firefighters perform a pre-entry safety check before attempting to battle a fire in the Army Motor Pool, June 19, 2007, on Camp Adder, Iraq. Due to munitions contained in the building and no potential for loss of life, the firefighters switched to defensive operations for the blaze using six trucks to keep it under control and confined to the building. The firefighters are assigned to the 407th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron at Ali Air Base, Iraq. U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt. Robert W. Valenca
