Marines from the Parris Island Marine Band pose with Flat Stanley, a journalism project where students create a paper doll to send to friends and family across the country and write journals about his traveling experiences, at the Chow Wagon at the Waterfront Park outdoors concert May 3. During the concert, the band had the opportunity to talk to people in the crowd and show then a different view of the Marine Corps than what they see in advertisement.
