Airmen tackle increased operations tempo
Jet engine technicians, Staff Sgt. Shaun Bennet (left) and Senior Airman Maurice Williams, inspect a B-1B Lancer's internal compressor blades during an engine borescope inspection. This inspection is accomplished every 100 engine operating hours. The Airmen are assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron's 34th Aircraft Maintenance Unit in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
