Norfolk, Va. (Jan. 3, 2007) - The Navy Munitions Command, detachment Sewells Point, performs a 21-gun salute at Iowa Point, located aboard Naval Station Norfolk. The 21-gun salute was in honor of former 38th president and Navy veteran Gerald R. Ford, who passed away Dec. 26, 2006, at his home in California.
