Atlantic Ocean (Nov. 7, 2006) - An AV-8B Harrier assigned to Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron Two Six Four (HMM-264) launches from the flight deck of amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5). The Bataan Expeditionary Strike Group is conducting a Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) off the Atlantic coast with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, based out of Camp Lejeune, N.C., prior to an upcoming regularly scheduled deployment.
