It may seem hard to believe but next month our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan will be celebrating Thanksgiving – thousands of miles away from their family, friends and loved ones. And if we want to show them how much we support them, care for them and have not forgotten them in our prayers, then it's time for us to take action to ensure this Thanksgiving holiday they know they are loved by Americans back home.

We all owe the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who are fighting in the war against terrorism our deepest appreciation and gratitude. To that end, Move America Forward is partnering up with KRLA Radio to send our largest shipment of coffee and cookies so far to the troops overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan.

It’s our way of letting these brave men and women know they are not forgotten here at home during the holiday season, a time that can be very lonely and disheartening for some who have been away from their loved ones for so long. And remember, we will soon be at the point where winter storms bring heavy rains, winds and snow to portions of Iraq and Afghanistan. A hot cup of premium coffee and cookies might help brighten the day of our troops.
