TAZA, IRAQ — U.S. Army 1st Lt. David Pattillo, assigned to 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment's Military Transition Team, mans his M-240 mounted machine gun during an operation in the Taza industrial zone, south of Kirkuk, Iraq, May 11, 2006. The operation, involving nearly 600 Iraqi army soldiers and police, consisted of a citywide lock-down and sweep through more than 300 shops, markets and small factories.
