Appleton honors fallen soldier: Special tribute in annual town report

APPLETON (May 24) - A page in the 2006 town report will pay special tribute to Joshua Humble, the 21-year-old Appleton soldier killed this winter while serving in the U.S. Army in Iraq.Selectman Donald Burke said the town report is dedicated to Nancy Brown of Appleton, but will also include a memoriam for the soldier.
A town report is the official record of public life in a community for the last year. It includes information ranging from the most minuscule amount of unpaid property taxes to the official records of actions taken by the townspeople as they conduct the government of their community.
