Atlantic Ocean (April 10, 2006) - An E-2C Hawkeye assigned to the "Bluetails" of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron One Two One (VAW-121) launches from flight deck aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN-73). George Washington Carrier Strike Group is participating in Partnership of the Americas, a maritime training and readiness deployment of the U.S. Naval Forces with Caribbean and Latin American countries in support of U.S. Southern Command's (SOUTHCOM) objectives for enhanced maritime security.
