The responses coming in from across America about our Talking with Heroes Talk Show are very encouraging. Our recently deployed men and women in the military now have a forum where they can share their mostly untold stories of helping the people in Iraq, Afghanistan and other places where our military serve. This talk show is not about politics. Plus we are hearing from military personnel coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan that they have been listening to Talking with Heroes over there too. Word is getting out.

People are finding out about Talking with Heroes 100% word of mouth. We have been told that there were about 10,000 people listening to this past Sunday nights talk show. If you missed this past Sundays Talk Show or any of our previous shows, they are all in archives.

You can listen to them as you have time on your computer. And if you have an iPOD you can download them and listen anywhere when you have the time. You might also want to check out our upcoming new guests list.

We are also working on cities where we will have local community welcome home events and tape them for later broadcast on Talking with Heroes. For those of you who are reading this in Colorado we will have a "Back From The Fronts" event on June 4th at the City Auditorium in Colorado Springs. The American Legion and VFW Posts are Co Sponsoring this event with Talking with Heroes. We are finalizing our guest speaker list and it will be announced shortly in our website.

This event is meant to be a community event of welcoming back from deployment military personnel from all four bases in the city. There will be community leaders speaking, leaders of the VFW and American Legion and the Women's Auxiliaries and others plus there will be entertainment. For those of you in Colorado if you would like to help with this let me know. We will also be opening up a new Sponsor section. For everybody who becomes a sponsor of any level, and you are in Colorado, you will have your sponsor listing as they are now plus all Colorado Sponsors will be listed in the June 4th Event section in our website.

Also for those of you in Colorado Springs I have been invited to have a table at this weekends Home and Garden Show at the Phil Long Expo Center. I will be there all day Friday and Saturday for a Walking with Heroes Book Signing event. Come by and say hello. For those of you outside of Colorado if you know anybody in Colorado Springs perhaps you could email them this information.

Linda Dominik with www.guardianangelsforsoldierspet.org is coordinating with the American Legion and VFW and others for a similar community welcome home event in Arkansas. This event will probably happen in September and Talking with Heroes will broadcast it on the talk show.

Let us know what you think of our talk shows. Also we are looking for help with fund raising ideas. Working in a non profit environment is new to us. The Foundation where our non profit is set up suggested that I set up a group of people on a Fund Raising Team. If you have any ideas or if you would have interest in being on such a team please let us know.
