NORTHWEST TAJI, IRAQ -- Reality. I don't know where to begin, and a word of warning. I'm so jacked-up right now this may be the longest entry of the trip by far. My chin still feels like I have the strap across it, after wearing my kevlar helmet all day; a phantom reminder of the day that began three hours and 35 minutes after my head hit the pillow this morning. I'll break this up as best I can in a few different sections, but I'm so happy to share one of my "LE's" (Life Experiences) and bring you along for one hell of a ride.

Tony, who passed along the tip (thanks, Tony!), says that Steffan's reporting on Iraq seemed, before his trip, to be a somewhat one-sided - reporting the bad, but not the good going on over there. Now that Steffan's over there, on the ground with our Heroes, he seems to be getting it.
