Families United - Chat with a Hero

Families United is proud to announce a new chat...March 14th at 8:00 p.m./EST with Lieutenant Colonel Todd Jacobus, who recently returned from Iraq.

LTC Jacobus, of the Iowa Army National Guard, was headquartered at Camp Ramadi as Commander of the 224th Combat Engineer Battalion from January through December 2005. The 224th Engineer Battalion cleared over 500 improvised explosive devices from cities and road networks in Multi-National Forces West, conducted convoy security escort over 900,000 miles of roadway, increased the survivability of Camps Blue Diamond, Corregidor, Hurricane Point, Korean Village, Korean Village, Al Qaim, and Ar Ramadi, and located scores of weapons caches, and cleared hundreds of tons of ordnance from ammunition supply points in Western Iraq.
