I asked my 7th grader if she would like to get some kids at school to write letters to the soldiers:
We got 149 letters in 2 days. The entire 7th and 8th grade was enthusiastic and participated. One 3 rd grade class was able to participate.
Just a few from the little kids are attached. I thought you might like to see these.

Here are a few excerpts (click the picture for a larger version):

From Nick: "Thank you for protecting our country...we really appreciate it...we hope Santa will give you a good present."

From Maggie: "My brother went to boot camp. I'm not old enough to go to boot camp. I'm only eight ... even though you're in irack, Santa's still seeing if you're noughty or nice. Thank you for spending your time in irack."

From Zack: "thank you for serving us and guard us from evil...everyone is praying for you."
There are more than a few chuckles to be gained, along with sincere good wishes for our Heroes.
Lisa's also promised to send a picture of the more than 120 very special cards that she got for our deployed heroes, and I'll post it when it arrives.
A big HOOAH to Lisa and the kids!
