2. Think Al-Qaeda's presence in Iraq is just about us? Al-Qaeda has plans to expand its efforts beyond Iraq once we're out of the way - to bring Islamic states to other secular countries like Syria and Lebanon.

The letter outlines a four-stage plan to expand the war in Iraq: Expel U.S. forces, establish an Islamic authority, take the fight to Iraq's secular neighbors...

3. Think the War on Terror isn't working? Al-Qaeda is hurting financially, and concerned that efforts in the War on Terror are cramping their style.

4. Think that civilians are on Al Qaeda's side? The terrorists are worried that the attacks on civilians and the gruesome beheading videos may result in the populace turning against them.

The Muslim populace who love and support you will never find palatable ... the scenes of slaughtering the hostages...

Clearer than ever is the fact that the War on Terror is one we need to fight to win - in Iraq, in Afghanistan, at home, and anywhere these scum are allowed to exist.
