An Activist I Can Respect...

Antiwar Activist Bids a Son Farewell
Becky Lourey is an antiwar Minnesota state senator. She's been very critical of the war and the current Administration.
Her son, Matthew, was a Chief Warrant officer who died in Iraq, a day after his Kiowa helicopter was shot down. Chief Warrant Officer Joshua Michael Scott was also killed in the crash. In this story from the Washington Post, Ms. Lourey shows why she's the kind of antiwar activist I strongly disagree with, but can certainly respect. Worth a read.

Our condolences to all of Matthew's family, friends, and comrades, and our unending gratitude for all he did for all of us.
