Zero Tolerance?

A 17 year old from Columbus, Georgia, has been suspended for refusing to turn over his cellphone when his mother (currently deployed in Iraq) called while he was in school - during lunch break. He became "belligerent" when a teacher interrupted the call and asked him to hand over the phone.
