Soldiers' Angels Needs Your Help

In the last few weeks, Soldiers' Angels has seen a flood of requests from deployed units for support. Rather than the usual submission of one deployed hero asking for someone to help him or her, these unit submissions can be very large (sometimes hundreds of heroes). Many of them come from field hospitals, often asking only for items for the wounded heroes they treat.

Here are examples of group requests received:

Thank you to all who have donated to US. Troops deployed overseas during this time. It is greatly appreciated by all soldiers regardless if they have benefited from your donation or not.My unit is is need of things to help pass the time between misions. Magazines dvds cds etc. Also protien bars are greatly coveted here because they provide a quick meal when you don't have the time to sit down for one.

I work as a nurse in the EMT.A lot of times soliders arrive to us with no clothes or we have to cut their clothes off of them- so when they leave the EMT we like to give them clothes to wear and thses are some items we could definitely use:1. shorts of all sizes 2. T-Shirts of all sizes 3. Flip Flops because sometimes they do not come in with shoes or we cut their boots offanything else you would like to send I am sure these soldiers would appreciateThanks so much for supporting us!!!

Dear Soldier's Angels:I am writing this letter on behalf of my Soldiers.I am the Executive Officer for 37 Soldiers... I want to show my Soldiers how much I appreciate all their effort and I also want them to see how much others appreciate them too! :)My Soldiers like anything!It's the little things that bring the smiles to faces over here in the desert!I'm not sure what you send but they like magazines snacks sweets dvds etc.Thank you so much for what you do...you are our angels!

In order to help meet these requests, Soldiers' Angels is asking for help. SA sends a small care package to each adopted hero, and also regularly sends items to deployed units, Combat Support Hospitals, etc.

If you are interested in making a donation, you can do so at that site by clicking on the "make a donation" button. Soldiers' Angels is entirely run by volunteers, and is a registered non-profit, so all of the donated funds go to help our heroes in the field.

I can tell you personally, there's no better feeling in the world than doing something to support our heroes.
