The Army...

The Navy...

Persian Gulf (Mar. 15, 2005) - Aviation Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Dennis Cochran, assigned to the Air Department as a waist safety observer, watches as an F/A-18C Hornet, assigned to the “Bulls” of Strike Fighter Squadron Three Seven (VFA-37), launches from the flight deck aboard USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). Carrier Air Wing Three (CVW-3) is embarked aboard Truman and is providing close air support and conducting intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance over Iraq. (Oct. 25, 2001)--Seaman Eric Medellin stands watch with his M-16 machine gun on board the Coast Guard Cutter Drummond while escorting a Disney cruise ship out of the Port of Canaveral. The crew of the Drummond worked alongside Station Port Canaveral and the Brevard County Sheriff's Office escorting two other cruise ships out of the port Oct. 25.
